LPG Truck Transport Tanks

These are bobtail units that enable the transportation of LPG on truck chassis.

Bobtail Tanks

Road tanker trucks are transport tanks mounted on truck chassis used for LPG distribution to domestic or industrial bulk gas customers or autogas service stations. Our manufacturing processes comply with ADR, TPED, and EN 12493 standards.

Upon customer request, design and manufacturing can also be performed according to ASME, CODAP, or other standards. Tank capacities are determined based on the truck model and capacity. The on-vehicle transport tanker is equipped with a distribution pump, and an LPG meter is optional.

Available Options for the Pump

  1. As a hydraulic system, from the vehicle’s PTO
  2. From the vehicle’s PTO via shaft
  3. Electric motor-driven

The customer can determine the capacity and design according to their needs. Vehicles mounted on small-capacity trucks are designed for urban operation. These vehicles are generally used to refill domestic tanks in hotels, restaurants, villas, and country houses using a meter and reel system.

YILTEKS proves its experience as a superstructure manufacturer by taking into account the instructions and recommendations provided by truck manufacturers during the installation of truck-mounted tanks. Transport tank designs and installation details are carried out in accordance with international standards and the procedures and principles of vehicle manufacturers.
