Industrial Tanks
These are LPG storage tanks used for cylinder filling plants or large-scale fuel requirements. Industrial storage tanks come in different models depending on whether they are installed above ground or underground. Our standard manufacturing complies with EN 13445. Upon customer request, design and manufacturing can be carried out according to AD2000 Merkblätter, ASME, CODAP, BS5500, or other standards. The manufacturing and testing of tanks are carried out under the supervision of an independent inspection body.
General Features
- YILTEKS LPG storage tanks are designed and manufactured in accordance with the PED 97/23/EC EU directive upon customer request.
- Fine-grained pressure vessel steels of P355 quality, compliant with EN 10028-3, are used in the manufacture of the tanks. The metallurgical and mechanical properties of the steels are tested and verified.
- All welded joints are tested according to manufacturing standards. For this purpose, a combination of X-ray, ultrasonic, penetrant, and magnetic particle tests is used.
- After manufacturing, all tanks are subjected to a hydrostatic pressure test. Following this test, the connections of the tank accessories are tested for leaks using nitrogen.
- After sandblasting, the tanks are coated with the highest quality paint. The correct type and thickness combination of primer, base coat, and top coat is determined based on whether the tank will be used above or below ground.
