Ammonia Semi Trailer Transport Tanks

These are mobile pressure vessels designed for the transport of liquid ammonia by road.

Semi-Trailer Transport Tanks

These are specially designed, high-pressure-resistant mobile tank systems for the safe and efficient transportation of liquid ammonia by road. They are manufactured in compliance with national and international standards such as EN 13445, ADR, ASME, and TSE. These tanks, which typically feature a 3-axle, air-suspended chassis structure, are tested with the 2007/46 ECE R105 certificate for rollover simulations, load distribution calculations, and suitability for road conditions. They combine environmental safety, operational efficiency, and legal compliance in ammonia transportation.

  • Maximum transport capacity within existing legal limits and standards,
  • Production flexibility in different capacities according to customer demand,
  • Various installation variations according to customer needs
  • Transportation of ammonia from terminals to filling plants or storage facilities
  • Supply of ammonia to bulk customers or service stations equipped with ammonia pumps.
  • Electrical
  • Hydraulic
  • Optional design conditions suitable for the region where the product will be used,
  • Excellent ergonomic design for operation and service, Non-destructive inspection tests in accordance with standards (Radiographic test, Penetrant test, Ultrasonic test, Magnetic Particle test, etc.).
  • The chassis can be manufactured as a bolted (removable) semi-chassis or a welded (fixed) half-chassis.
  • Axle, brake, and electrical systems are selected based on customer requirements.
  • Completed tanks will undergo hydrostatic pressure and leak testing.
  • TSE-approved Tank Inspection Certificate, T9 Certificate, Manufacturer Certificates, Tank Certificates, Hydrostatic Test Certificate, Pneumatic Test Certificate, WPS/PQR Welder Certificates, NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT, Lamination), Material Certificates, Bomb Heat Treatment Graph Certificates, Paint Thickness Measurement Test Certificates will be provided.

General Features

  • They are manufactured as above-ground or underground storage tanks depending on the model.
  • The tank is designed with a cylindrical cross-section and manufactured with the most durable and safest combination.
  • Our tanks use special high-strength, fine-grained, normalized “P” series pressure vessel steel that complies with the EN 10028-3 standard. The mechanical and metallurgical properties of the steel have been tested and verified.
  • Elliptical domed tank heads with stress relief properties in accordance with standards are used.
  • Production and quality processes are carried out by a qualified and experienced engineer under the supervision of an independent inspection body in accordance with standards and procedures.
  • Welding is performed by certified welders in accordance with standards and materials.
  • All welded joints are tested and inspected by competent, internationally certified NDT personnel.
  • After assembly, all tanks undergo a hydrostatic pressure test.
  • The outer surfaces of the tank are cleaned by sandblasting to SA quality before painting.
  • We use a corrosion-resistant, long-lasting, high-quality two-component paint to provide customers with the best product.
